This comprehensive outdoor transformation focused on replacing an aging, weather-damaged timber structure with a high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living environment engineered for the Pacific Northwest climate.
Our team began by dismantling the deteriorated deck boards and evaluating the existing substructure. We reinforced the load-bearing framing, updated ground post anchors, and installed advanced joist flashing tape to protect against long-term moisture penetration and rot.
The new surface features premium composite decking in a warm natural wood finish, fastened with concealed clip systems for a sleek, screw-free aesthetic. To maximize open sightlines into the landscape while ensuring structural safety, we installed a custom powder-coated black aluminum railing system with low-profile horizontal cable infill and recessed LED step lights for nighttime ambiance.
